Recap: Lincoln West Wolverines vs. John F. Kennedy Fighting Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to the Lincoln West Wolverines, who are still winless after their fourth match. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting John F. Kennedy an easy 66-41 victory. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lincoln West in their matchups with John F. Kennedy: they've now lost six in a row.
John F. Kennedy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Damairus Logan led the charge by scoring nine points. Another player making a difference was Thechaunn Brooks, who scored nine points.
Lincoln West bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for John F. Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Lincoln West will be home for the holidays to greet Open Door Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Open Door Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lincoln West in Ohio (Open Door Christian is ranked 325th, while Lincoln West is ranked 798th). As for John F. Kennedy, they will head out on the road to face off against Bard Early College at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
