Taylor County entered their tilt with Chattahoochee County on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They strolled past the Chattahoochee County Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 59-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-41 back in January.

Brayden Ellison was his usual excellent self, putting up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Chan Lumpkin, who posted 13 points.

Chattahoochee County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zamyron Wright, who had eight points. That's the most points Wright has posted since back in December of 2024. Anazhon Purnell was another key player, earning ten points.

Taylor County is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Chattahoochee County, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-7.

Taylor County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chattahoochee County, they will square off against Macon County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Macon County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Chattahoochee County likes a good challenge.
