While Faith Christian's win against Valley Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Faith Christian narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Valley Christian 3-2. Faith Christian is really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.

Faith Christian wouldn't go down easily and took Valley Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 15-7.

Faith Christian can attribute much of their success to Mandy-Gail Fitzgerald, who had 17 digs and one assist.

Faith Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 17 consecutive contests.

Faith Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Valley Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Faith Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buckingham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
