Football Recap: Norwalk's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Norwalk waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-6 W against the Whitney Wildcats.

Norwalk's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Whitney, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Norwalk is set to face off against their familiar foe Artesia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lancers 10.4, the Pioneers 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Whitney will square off against rival Cerritos at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
