Medford Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highland Regional Tartans. One positive for the Jaguars, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Medford Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Highland Regional, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Looking ahead, Medford Tech will take on Delran at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highland Regional, they will square off against Timber Creek Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Timber Creek Regional will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Highland Regional surely won't give up without a fight.
