Volleyball Game Preview: Hilliard Bradley Jaguars vs. Westerville South Wildcats

The Hilliard Bradley Jaguars will venture away from home to face off against the Westerville South Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

On Monday, Hilliard Bradley had just enough and edged out Big Walnut 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Hilliard Bradley can attribute much of their success to Noah Santone, who had 21 assists and one block, and Luke Schroeder, who had ten digs. That's the most digs Schroeder has posted over his last nine contests.

Meanwhile, Westerville South narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Licking Heights 3-2.

Westerville South wouldn't go down easily and took Licking Heights into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 23-25, 18-25, 26-24, 15-7.

Westerville South now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Hilliard Bradley, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
