After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Waverly, Piketon was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Paint Valley Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Redstreaks haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Piketon got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-4, 31-29, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Aubrey Heath, who had 11 digs.

Piketon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Piketon's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-7. As for Paint Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Piketon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Westfall on the 18th. As for Paint Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Zane Trace on the 18th.
