Basketball Recap: Cascade Finds Home Court Redemption Against Lewis County

There's no place like home for Cascade, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 57-35 margin over the Lewis County Panthers on Friday. The Champions pushed the score to 52-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

Among those leading the charge was Kaegan Young, who posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Ray, who had ten points.

Cascade is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season. Lewis County's loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Looking ahead, Cascade will square off against Summertown at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Summertown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season. Lewis County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
