Volleyball Recap: Greece Athena Comes Up Short

Greece Athena and Canandaigua Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Greece Athena had to settle for second. They came up short against the Gray Wolves, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Gray Wolves this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Greece Athena dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Canandaigua Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-14-3.

Greece Athena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canandaigua Academy, they will face off against Irondequoit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
