Softball Recap: Shadow Ridge Falls Short of Highland in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shadow Ridge can now relate to. They lost 8-0 to the Highland Hawks on Tuesday. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Shadow Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Scott, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

This is the second loss in a row for Shadow Ridge and nudges their season record down to 17-11-1. As for Highland, they pushed their record up to 21-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither Shadow Ridge nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
