Merritt Island has gone a perfect 10-0 against Satellite recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will take on the Scorpions at 6:30 p.m. Merritt Island will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
On Monday, Merritt Island made easy work of Heritage and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7, 25-19.

Merritt Island's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reece Loggins, who had nine digs and two aces. Loggins has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played. Annabelle Jones was another key player, getting three digs and two aces.
They weren't the only good server: Merritt Island was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Satellite, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Titusville by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Terriers: they've now won eight in a row.
Satellite had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-19.
Merritt Island's record is now 18-2. As for Satellite, their record now sits at 10-6.
Merritt Island was able to grind out a solid victory over Satellite in their previous matchup last Friday, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
