Volleyball Recap: White River Valley Comes Up Short on the Road Against Linton-Stockton

White River Valley had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Linton-Stockton Miners on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Miners from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-14.

Hailey Grover paced White River Valley's offense, picking up four kills. Grover got some help from Evelyn Abrams and her nine assists. Zyleigh Abrams-Condol controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The victory was the third in a row for Linton-Stockton, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, White River Valley is taking a road trip to take on Dugger Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Linton-Stockton, they have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Bloomington South on the 21st.
