Basketball Recap: Peachtree Academy Panthers vs. Faith Christian Academy
Peachtree Academy posted their biggest win since February 1, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Faith Christian Academy 65-41. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Peachtree Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Jackson out in front who went 12 of 24 en route to 31 points. Jackson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Liam Abraham, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 16 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian Academy lost, don't look at Haven Brannen. Despite the final result, he posted 30 points. Those 30 points gave Brannen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hagen Williams, who earned seven points.
