Meanwhile, Newcastle never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over North Rock Creek. The Racers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 20 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Newcastle's victory bumped their record up to 26-3-1. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 25-4.
