Preview: Laurel Bulldogs vs. Early College Hornets
Laurel has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Early College Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Laurel is ranked 47th, while Early College is ranked 42nd).
Laurel's 16-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Delaware Military Academy on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Early College can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 57-13 victory over Avon Grove Charter. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Early College has posted yet this season.
Laurel's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Early College, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
Laurel strolled past Early College in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a score of 67-48. Will Laurel repeat their success, or does Early College have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
