The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Maclay Marauders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Trinity Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Providence School with a sharp 42-16 win. The victory continues a trend for the Conquerors in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Maclay, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They were the clear victors by a 39-18 margin over North Florida Educational Institute on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Marauders considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Trinity Christian Academy better keep an eye on Beau Beshears. He was instrumental in Maclay's win, throwing for 197 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also picking up 50 receiving yards and one score. Beshears' passing game has become a key predictor of the Marauders' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Tucker Poppell, who picked up 36 receiving yards and one TD.

One reason for the win was Maclay's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Hunter Sheheane was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
