South Barber has gone 7-1 against Stafford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The South Barber Chieftains will challenge the Stafford Trojans. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for South Barber and eight for Stafford.

Last Tuesday, South Barber was beaten by Attica 74-20. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 86th).

Meanwhile, Stafford was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 47-41 to Skyline.

South Barber's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Stafford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

South Barber took their win against Stafford in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 54-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Barber since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
