Basketball Recap: Creekview Takes a Loss

Creekview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Wakeland Wolverines 69-42. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 778th, while the Wolverines are ranked 195th).

Creekview's record now sits at 8-13. As for Wakeland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Creekview will challenge The Colony at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wakeland, they will take on Lone Star at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lone Star knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Wakeland likes a good challenge.
