Softball Recap: Central DeWitt Takes a Loss

After flying high against Davenport North on Monday, Central DeWitt came back down to earth. Central DeWitt came up short against Davenport North on Monday, falling 8-1. Central DeWitt was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Davenport North earlier this season, when they won 13-5.

Central DeWitt has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Davenport North, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Central DeWitt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-9 victory against Wilton on the 10th. As for Davenport North, they are taking a road trip to challenge Washington at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
