Hopewell-Loudon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Old Fort Stockaders as they made off with  an  11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Chieftains, who have now won four contests by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
  Brayden Brickman was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Thomas Daniel, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Hopewell-Loudon's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Old Fort,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-4.
 Coming up, Hopewell-Loudon will square off against Upper Sandusky at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Rams will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last. As for Old Fort, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakota  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
