San Marcos had won six straight games and Ayleceia Pierson did her part to make it seven on Tuesday. The San Marcos Rattlers claimed a resounding 62-33 victory over the Johnson Jaguars thanks in part to Pierson, who went 6 of 7 on her way to 16 points along with seven boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Azariah Fennell, who posted six points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played.

San Marcos pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Johnson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
