Volleyball Recap: Allatoona Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Clarkston

Allatoona faced Clarkston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Buccaneers fell 2-0 to the Angoras. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Angoras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Allatoona is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7. As for Clarkston, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Allatoona has already played their next match (against Sprayberry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Clarkston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Denmark on the 26th.
