After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boone, Cornerstone Charter Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They took down the Geneva Knights 46-27. The win continues a trend for the Ducks in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Cornerstone Charter Academy found their leader in sophomore Fernanda Sanchez-Trasladino, who posted 15 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. Molly Nguyen was another key player, putting up eight points and ten steals.

Cornerstone Charter Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory got Cornerstone Charter Academy back to even at 1-1.

Cornerstone Charter Academy and Geneva will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Ducks see the court they'll take on Faith Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 4. As for Geneva, their break will end when they face Lake Mary Prep at 5:30 p.m. on December 4.
