Football Game Preview: Presbyterian Christian Bobcats vs. St. Patrick Fighting Irish

Presbyterian Christian is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will square off against the St. Patrick Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Presbyterian Christian faced off against Bay on Friday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over the Tigers. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Tigers are ranked 207th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Patrick hadn't done well against Resurrection Catholic recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Fighting Irish blew past the Eagles 36-13. The win was some much needed relief for the Fighting Irish as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

St. Patrick's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Presbyterian Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
