Football Recap: Kecoughtan Comes Up Short

Kecoughtan extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 2-4. They lost 36-12 to the Woodside Wolverines. The Warriors were down 29-6 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Although Kecoughtan took the loss, they still got scores from Eric Tatum and Josiah Richardson.

As for Woodside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2. That looming 36-12 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Woodside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Young, who rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown. Young also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending two passes.
