Basketball Game Preview: Birdville Hawks vs. Argyle Eagles

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Birdville Hawks duke it out with the Argyle Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Friday... Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Birdville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Colleyville Heritage 63-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Hawks have posted since December 5, 2023.

Ryan typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Argyle proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 55-39 victory over the Raiders.

Argyle's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.4 points. As for Birdville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

Birdville was dealt a bruising 67-20 defeat at the hands of Argyle in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Birdville was down 33-11.
