Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Red Creek

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Red Creek's offense. They came up short against the East Rochester Bombers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Red Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 384th, while East Rochester are ranked 13th).

Red Creek has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 17 of their last 19 contests, dating back to last year. That leaves them at a 1-5-1 record this season. As for East Rochester, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Red Creek is set to challenge their familiar foe Sodus at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Rochester will square off against their in-conference opponent Williamson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
