Volleyball Recap: Warren Township Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Warren Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lakes Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12.

Shayla Ray paced Warren Township's offense, picking up five kills. Ray got some help from Lyla Christensen and her six assists. Marissa Gonzalez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Warren Township's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Lakes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-8.

Warren Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Lake Zurich on the 15th. As for Lakes, they will face off against Grayslake Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
