After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Summerville, Cane Bay was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wando Warriors, sneaking past 7-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cobras as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Isabella Kelly spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Charlet Reed, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Lyla Roberson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
