Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Kitsap Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central Kitsap this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on April 1st.

Lincoln's record is now 1-8. As for Central Kitsap, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Bellarmine Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Kitsap, they will square off against Gig Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
