Elmwood Park can attribute much of their success to Jordyn Boatman, who scored 16 points, and Angelo Bernard, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boatman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Ruiz, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Illinois Math & Science Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Westminster Christian 45-41.
Elmwood Park's victory bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
