Meanwhile, Schenectady managed to keep up with Albany until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Schenectady came up short against Albany, falling 71-47. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colonie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Schenectady, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Colonie Central beat Schenectady 84-74 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Colonie Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
