Johnson-Brock had won ten straight games dating back to last season and Brody Koehler did his part to make it 11 on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Palmyra Panthers 72-49 for which the team can thank Koehler, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 27 points and eight boards. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played.

Palmyra's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Harrison Boyte, who posted 20 points, and Kobee Martin, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Hippen, who scored six points.

Johnson-Brock's record is now 2-0. As for Palmyra, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson-Brock will challenge Falls City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palmyra, they will face off against Mead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
