Eastlake has gone 6-1 against Coronado recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m.

Coronado is facing Eastlake at the wrong time: Eastlake suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Julian Williams and Joe Fernandez. Fernandez had a great game and threw for 206 yards and a pair of TDs. Meanwhile, Williams did his best for the losing side, rushing for 143 yards.

Meanwhile, Coronado beat Socorro 42-29 on Thursday. The Thunderbirds' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Eastlake, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Eastlake strolled past Coronado in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a score of 42-28. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Thunderbirds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
