Southern Cayuga had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Groton Red Hawks as they made off with a 6-0 win. It was an even better day for Braxton Young as he scored three goals for his team.

Southern Cayuga's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Groton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Southern Cayuga will square off against rival Moravia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Groton is set to take on their familiar foe Whitney Point at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
