Oak Hill Academy star edges Malachi Wideman in a highly-anticipated duel in Fort Myers.

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Cole Anthony slammed his way to the dunk contest title at the City of Palms Classic on Wednesday night, electrifying the crowd and beating out some stiff competition.

The Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) point guard beat out Malachi Wideman of Riverview (Sarasota, Fla.) and teammate Darrick Jones Jr. in an exciting final round that had the crowd buzzing.

Anthony perfectly executed three dunks, including a special slam to close out the night.

The 6-foot-2 New York native Anthony went off the backboard for two of his three dunks in the final round, earning a 49 and perfect 50, respectively.

Anthony is the highest-rated uncommitted player remaining in high school basketball's Class of 2019. North Carolina and Oregon are believed to be among the leaders in his recruitment though Georgetown, Miami, Notre Dame and Wake Forest are also in the mix.

After getting LeBron James off his feet over the summer on the club circuit, Wideman settled for second but didn't disappoint the crowd in Fort Myers.
