Volleyball Recap: Locust Grove Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Locust Grove waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Ola Mustangs by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in August, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Ella Norsworthy paced Locust Grove's offense, picking up eight kills. Norsworthy got some help from Avril Tomme and her 14 assists. Emilie Trujillo controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Locust Grove's win bumped their record up to 10-4-1. As for Ola, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6.

Locust Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Dutchtown on the 4th. As for Ola, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Howard on the 4th.
