Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Snyder Cardinals vs. Providence School Stallions

The Bishop Snyder Cardinals will take on the Providence School Stallions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Snyder will be strutting in after a victory while Providence School will be coming in after a loss.

Bishop Snyder will bounce into Friday's match after beating Riverside, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Bishop Snyder came out on top against Riverside by a score of 63-55 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Providence School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rickards.

Bishop Snyder will need focus on slowing down Ryan Gornto, one of several Providence School players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Will Rydzewski, who had nine points.

Bishop Snyder's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Providence School, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
