Basketball Recap: Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions, falling 53-23. The defeat continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool had strong showings from Tara Marks, who posted five points in addition to five rebounds and five steals, and Taylor Dorr, who put up eight points and five steals.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 11-21. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5.

As of now, neither Mid-Missouri HomeSchool nor Kansas City East Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
