Baseball Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont and Casey-Westfield squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Altamont had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-2. The Indians' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Altamont saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Elam, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Altamont's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Casey-Westfield, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-12.

As of now, neither Altamont nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
