West Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 56-33 to the Orleans Bulldogs. The Senators were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Orleans was led to victory by Alex DeWitt and Bryce Jones. DeWitt went 8-for-9 en route to 22 points in addition to six boards and three steals, while Jones went 6-for-10 to rack up 17 points and three steals. What's more, DeWitt also posted an 89% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nate Brown, who posted four points.

West Washington's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Orleans, their win was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

Coming up, West Washington will host Rock Creek Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orleans, they will square off against Eastern Greene at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Orleans' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
