Softball Recap: Booker Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Booker can now relate to. They came up short against the Borden County Coyotes on Friday, falling 14-1. The Kiowas were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Coyotes' pitchers proved too tough.

With the loss, Booker broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-7. As for Borden County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.
