Football Game Preview: West Branch Bears vs. Tipton Tigers

West Branch is a perfect 5-0 against Tipton since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

West Branch easily dispatched Monticello last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bears fell just short of Alburnett by a score of 20-17 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Tipton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 24-7 to Anamosa.

West Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tipton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

West Branch was able to grind out a solid victory over Tipton when the teams last played back in August of 2020, winning 17-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
