Basketball Game Preview: Clearview Clippers vs. Fairview Warriors

Clearview and Fairview are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Clearview Clippers will be playing at home against the Fairview Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Clearview is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Firelands just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 64-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Clippers have suffered against the Falcons since December 10, 2021.

Meanwhile, Fairview waltzed into their match on Sunday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Panthers to the tune of 64-33. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Panthers are ranked 425th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fairview is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Clearview, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.
