            Baseball Recap: Somerset Briar Jumpers vs. Boyle County Rebels        
        
		
        
        
            For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Somerset and Boyle County have met, but the home crowd finally got their W  on Friday. The Briar Jumpers came up short against  the Rebels, falling  12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Briar Jumpers have suffered  against the Rebels since March 27, 2018.
 Somerset saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Caynan Sizemore, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
Somerset's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Boyle County, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerset will take on Elizabethtown at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so the Briar Jumpers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Boyle County, they will challenge Anderson County at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Rebels are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
