Volleyball Recap: Altamont Find Success

Manila came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Altamont, but Chezney Bywater wouldn't allow it. The Longhorns were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs on Saturday thanks in part to Bywater, who had 12 digs and six aces. Bywater is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

While Altamont won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

Altamont now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altamont will head out to take on Duchesne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manila, they will venture away from home to challenge Tabiona at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
