Football Recap: Connersville Has No Trouble Against Madison

Connersville won against Greensburg last Friday with 28 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Everything went the Spartans' way against the Madison Cubs as they made off with a 28-7 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Connersville's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Madison, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Connersville will challenge Rushville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Madison, they will take on Jennings County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
