League recap: mchuge throws longest pass in league this season for McNary

Fans got a thrill when drew mchuge and kyle torres connected against Canby. The longest such play in 6A Central Valley this season, the connection resulted in 89 yards.

South Salem's Campbell Justin recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Douglas last week. Justin ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 133 on the day as his team beat the Scots.

McNary's dynamic duo of mchuge and devon dunagan proved tough for the Cougars to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Mchuge threw for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns and dunagan had 105 yards receiving.

The Celtics' dynamic duo of mchuge and dunagan proved to be unstoppable against Canby, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Benton Josh was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 188 yards on 24 carries as South Salem fell to Mike Vaught's team.

Josh was a passing and rushing force as the Saxons bested Douglas. Josh's key target this week was Martz Kevin, who caught 4 passes for 67 yards.

Mchuge put up the best numbers through the air as Isaac Parker's team fell to the Cougars.

Dunagan was the best wideout in 6A Central Valley this week as the Celtics fell to Canby.

McKay's Sam Harris and Kris Williams have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Harris has thrown for 408 yards this season, while Williams has 10 catches for 167 yards. McNary's brett hildebrand leads the league in rushing yards with 292.

West Salem and Thurston played the closest game in the league this week, with West Salem eventually emerging with a 42-41 victory.
