Softball Game Preview: Kuna Kavemen vs. Timberline Wolves

The Kuna Kavemen will square off against the Timberline Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Kuna lost 15-6 to Borah on Thursday. The Kavemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paisley Wiedenfeld was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Fallyn Six also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Timberline fell victim to Meridian and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kuna's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Timberline, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Kuna's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's game. The Kavemen have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Timberline, though, as they've been averaging only 0.4 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Kuna continue to outrun the ball?
