Volleyball Recap: Mount Olive Triumphs

Mount Olive had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Franklin Warriors 2-1 on Saturday.

Ayden Flitcroft paced Mount Olive's offense, picking up 12 kills. Flitcroft got some help from Ryan Bause and his 22 assists. Ethan Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Mount Olive's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coming up, Mount Olive will be playing at home against Vernon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Marauders are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to take on College Achieve Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
